TL;DR: Use Roasty for fun with friends. Don't use it to harass people, create harmful content, or do anything illegal. AI-generated content is for entertainment only.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Roasty ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Roasty is an entertainment application that generates humorous responses (roasts, compliments, witty replies) based on images you capture.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App to harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate any person
- Generate content targeting minors in any inappropriate manner
- Use generated content to defame real individuals
- Share generated content in ways that could be mistaken for genuine statements
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
- Circumvent usage limits or abuse the free tier
⚠️ Important: Roasty-generated content is meant for entertainment between friends who consent to the humor. Using Roasty to target unwilling participants may result in account termination.
4. Generated Content Disclaimer
All content generated by Roasty is for entertainment purposes only. You understand that:
- Generated content may be inaccurate or inappropriate despite our safety filters
- You are solely responsible for how you use and share generated content
- Roasty does not endorse any generated content
- Generated content should not be taken as factual statements
5. Subscriptions and Payments
- Free tier: Limited daily generations with optional rewarded ads
- Premium tier: Unlimited generations, all modes and styles, no ads
Subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
6. Intellectual Property
The Roasty app, including its design, code, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may share generated content for personal use but may not use it commercially without permission.
7. Privacy
Your use of Roasty is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Roasty at any time for violation of these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Roasty is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or meet your specific requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ireland.
